Tiger Leaps 18 Feet Onto Balcony. In a small village in Bali, a man was stunned to find a tiger sitting on his second-floor balcony. Terrified and confused, he demanded the CCTV tapes from a camera across the road to see how it got there. The footage revealed the unbelievable: the tiger had launched itself more than 18 feet into the air, clearing the second floor rail in a single bound.

Within hours, the clip went viral worldwide, viewers calling it “proof that big cats really are supercharged versions of house cats.” Wildlife experts say it’s one of the most powerful tiger jumps ever captured on camera

In nature the largest canid can reach a body weight of 145 lbs.
The largest cat in nature can reach 700 lbs., over four times as heavy. BUT:

among pets, it's dogs that by far weigh the most.

Why in nature are cats the largest, while for pets, dogs are?

Gore-geous Ghoul of the Day: Gloria Pall

Gloria Pall was the perfect mix of pin-up glamour, pulp fantasy, and atomic-age attitude. Billed as “The Eyeful Tower,” she lit up both the big and small screen with roles that danced between noir, sci-fi, and sultry melodrama. Before the censors blushed her off TV as the too-suggestive hostess “Voluptua,” Gloria strutted through Hollywood’s weirdest corners, leaving a trail of smoldering celluloid in her wake.

She had a small role in The Twilight Zone episode, "And When the Sky Was Opened". Her film appearances include Abbott and Costello Go to Mars (1953), 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954), The Night of the Hunter (1955), Jailhouse Rock (1957) and The Crimson Kimono (1959).

Off-screen, Gloria embraced her cult status, appearing at conventions and writing memoirs about Hollywood’s wild years. She was bold, unapologetic, and decades ahead of her time.

Apparently there are no remaining vids of the show. Just some stills included in the link.

"Eggcellent

Ukrainian Easter eggs - ... are works of art," #2,318
- but -
Some in the West may devote time to decoration, but often for a Christmas tree.

In New York State we decorate hard boiled eggs, but generally discard the egg shell to eat the hard boiled contents.

What do they do in Ukraine with these works of art?

< >

If I were going to spend that much time decorating, I'd decorate a T-shirt. They're less fragile.

The world's largest Ukrainian Easter egg is the Vegreville Pysanka, a giant sculpture located in Vegreville, Alberta, Canada. Built in 1975, it is a tribute to the early Ukrainian settlers in the area and is a major tourist attraction. The egg measures 25.7 feet long, 31 feet high, and 81 feet wide, and was constructed from over 3,500 pieces of aluminum.
